Of the infinite bounties of nature, life is the most precious one. We all study nature and life through our vocations. Dentistry is one of the most vital services mankind utilizes and for good reason. The development of the vertebral column and a mouth which opens and closes were the two main developmental features of life as it started inhabiting land from sea. Hence the mouth became an organ of sustenance – life without adequate attention to any of its vital aspects inevitably flounders.

Meet Dr. Malik

I am a dentist – I love teeth. Teeth are attached to people . It is not far-fetched to conceive that I love people. The human body is both magical and mystical . If one dedicates oneself to the observation and study of any body part life rewards richly. Such has been the nature of my experience with teeth.

My late father was a flying instructor trained in the US Army at Camp Gary Austin, Texas. I developed an early love and fascination with planes and wanted to become a pilot like my dad. But he just would not have it. Dentistry became my next best choice . I saw my mom suffer needlessly at the hands of dentists.  Machines always attracted my attention. Dentistry employed plenty of them and I was good with my hands and still am.

My proud and fond memories of my dad at the helm of the plane”s controls taught me significant things.  Staying calm in the thick of the fray was the first. I can now perceive how a pilot’s entire body is engaged in flight control. The rudder, the aileron and trim tabs need amazing coordination. The human hand has approximately six hundred sensors per square inch. A dentist at work is not far from such exacting physical demands. To run a drill in a dark cavity next to the tongue and cheek while looking through a mirror does require some prolonged and dedicated learning.

I am blessed with a mother who is an English and Geography teacher.  She inculcated a deep love of learning in my younger brother and myself. The more I learn the more I realize how little I know.

Besides dentistry my other passion is horses. I have played competitive and noncompetitive polo. I am a lover of good food and like to delve in cooking. I am fortunate to know some celebrity chefs. I have learnt from their points of view.

Just like great cooking, dentistry employs a lot of preparatory work, attention to detail and fine ingredients. The chef alone is not much without a great team. For the ultimate service to our clients, we have developed an exceptional team.

We look forward to serving you.
